Pullet Eggs

Writer's picture: TimelessTimeless

A pullet is a hen that is less than a year old. Some chicken breeds can start laying as early as 16 weeks and their first eggs will be considerably smaller than an ordinary sized egg.

Wee chickens lay wee eggs. Our 4 1/2 month old chickens have started to lay, yay! Take a look at how adorable these eggs are....

Once these ladybirds get a bit older and more practiced in laying, their eggs will get bigger. In the meantime, these little eggs will continue to bring smiles to our faces and continued admiration and appreciation of nature and of our flock.
